After 4 successful editions BeAPP's annual conference & exhibition is recognized by Pharma at large as a valuable contributor to the scientific development of the Belgian pharmaceutical community as well as a successful networking platform for its key stakeholders. The fifth edition of this unique event strives to continue the contribution to the executive education of its members and the pharmaceutical medicine community at large. BeAPP & pharma.be offer high-level content and interesting networking possibilities.

This year we have expanded the exhibition size to ensure we provide exhibition opportunities to Belgium’s largest life science event.

The internet is changing the way the pharmaceutical industry communicates with its regulators, physicians and most importantly, the patient. We are moving towards a shared space, an increasingly transparent dialogue between all stakeholders. This year’s conference will explore the impact of the internet and other new (e-) media on traditional life sciences processes and relationships.

Main Theme
THE E-HEALTHCARE AGE: Communication & Transparency?

The move to e-healthcare raises questions on levels of transparency, compliance, e-marketing, information tailored to the lay public, online data registries (such as EudraCT), relationship management with key stakeholders, and much more. What will the impact be on our industry? What are the opportunities and pitfalls? This year the conference will not be limited to the drug development process. BeAPP expands the scope to the broader pharmaceutical setting in collaboration with Pharma.be. Other associations, who have worked with us in the past ACRP, BAPU and VAPI-UPIP, will contribute to addressing the questions that face us in the E-healthcare age.

The conference offers a large choice in afternoon break-out sessions in addition to the keynote presentations. The programme is packed with information relevant to the challenges confronting today's pharmaceutical profession.
